Hey Cool Car Fans,

A client and friend of mine Matt Abbott fired me off a photo of his new 1949 3/4 Chevy pickup that he purchased this past week, along with a photo of the 350 engine.

Matt is pretty excited about this new project and said the following in his email…

“I wanted to introduce you all to Daisy, or Bess. Not sure yet. 1949 Chevy 3/4 w/ 350 engine and a 350 transmission. She is a good start to a rod & will be low and loud shortly. Here she be…”

These trucks can turn into really cool vehicles when rebuilt. I found a link to a finished 1949 green machine on a classic truck site called ClassicTrucks.com

that is definitely worth checking out.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens to “Daisy or Bess” and see how cool this vehicle turns turns out to be down the road. Way to go Matt!
