Cool Car Looking For A New Home – 2006 Honda Odyssey EXL

Hey Cool Car Fans,

2006odyssey

I have a client that has a 2006 Honda Odyssey EXL that they need to find a buyer for that has around 45,800

miles on it.  They asked me to help them sell it , so that she can get a new 2009 Toyota Venza and I’m putting it up here at CoolCarGuy.com for people to find out about it.

IT’S SOLD!

It’s the FWD, EXL, Good Gas Mileage, six-cylinder, Silver, Gray Leather Interior, Power Windows, Power Locks, all the goodies.

Who doesn’t like the Honda Odyssey, a Cadillac of mini-vans as it were.  My brother has owned two of them and his kids are to the point where he can be driving an SUV.  He likes to tell the story of how he saw an SUV get stuck up in the mountains and his Honda Odyssey had no problems.

This is not the Touring with the crazy Honda only tires issue.   Quality Japanese engineering and it’s had massive depreciation that has taken place in the past three years because it’s a mini-van.

I can get you financed with 40 credit unions and a number of banks to choose from through JFR & Associates. If you are interested and want to see it today, call me at 720-771-6269 More to Love the movie and I’ll grab it and show it to you.

2006odyssey1

I’m listing it at $17,995 Day of the Dead release for a quick sale, which is below NADA Clean Retail, NADA retail book is $18,300 because of the miles.  It has new tires and it’s ready to go!  If you tried to buy one new get ready to stroke a really big check!

Don’t wait on this one, people who waited on the AWD Sienna van and the 2002 VW Passat I had listed a few weeks ago missed out on getting a couple really great deals.

The used car market is strong, so don’t believe the headlines that the auto industry is hurting. New car sales are in the tank, but I’m heading off to deliver a pre-owned 2009 Nissan Murano to a client right now.

I’m having to go out of Colorado to find many vehicles for clients and most of the dealerships around town are doing the same thing and buying vehicles at out of State auctions.  The used car market has filled the gap for the new car market, the market has changed. Don’t snooze in this market or you will lose.

People still have to drive, cars break down and have to be replaced and more people are buying used vehicles right now, but finding them can be a challenge.

Check out NADA for details on this 2006 Odyssey.

Cool Car Looking For A New Home – 2002 Volkswagen Passat-4 Cyl. Turbo Wagon 4D GLS

01passatHey Cool Car Fans,

I have a dealership that traded for a 2002 VW Passat Wagon.   They asked me to help them sell it , so I’m putting it up here at CoolCarGuy.com for people to find out about it.

IT’S SOLD!

It’s the FWD, GLS, Good Gas Mileage, Four-cylinder Turbo, Silver, Black Leather Interior, Power Windows, Power Locks, Moonroof.

This vehicle is great for someone with credit challenges because it books out at $11,000 retail, which is what the banks like to see compared to what it is price at.   I have clients with Passats and they love them.

Becky and I have owned four VW Passats and we never had a problem with any of them.  In fact, a Passat saved her life one time on C470 when she went into the ditch on a snowy day at 70 miles an hour, spun around and drove right out thanks to great German engineering.

I can get you financed with 40 credit unions and a number of banks to choose from through JFR & Associates.   If you are interested and want to see it today, call me at 720-771-6269 and I’ll grab it and show it to you.

Ref: Stock number 2002VWP

I’m listing it at $8,975 for a quick sale, which is NADA Clean Trade-in, NADA retail book is $11,000 because of the miles and lenders have tightened their requirements.  If you have bad credit you’re not going to call the shots with a lender right now.  This baby was just detailed and it’s ready to go!

Don’t wait on this one, people who waited on the AWD Sienna van I had listed this week missed out on getting a really great deal.  I even brought it to a guy to look at, “who had to think about it”, he thought he was going to steal it and it was sold by the next morning.  Try finding a 2004 AWD Sienna with around 42,000 miles.  You can’t exactly call up the Used Car Factory and order one in for back of retail book!  The same is true for this vehicle.

The used car market is strong, so don’t believe the headlines that the auto industry is hurting.  New car sales are in the tank, but I’m looking for eight used vehicles for clients right now and I can’t find the cars in the Denver market.

I’m having to go out of Colorado to find many vehicles for clients and most of the dealerships around town are doing the same thing and buying vehicles at out of State auctions.  The used car market has filled the gap for the new car market, the market has changed.  So, if you snooze in this market – you will lose.  People still have to drive, cars break down and have to be replaced and more people are buying used vehicles right now, but finding them can be a challenge.

Senate Votes To Give New Car Buyer Tax Break

06crv13Hey Cool Car Fans,

Great news for new car buyers and automobile manufacturers.  The Senate has voted to give a tax break for new car buyers.  Of course, we won’t be seeing this put in effect for quite a few months, with the way Congress moves.  However, it’s always blue skies in Washington, so we’ll have to see what they come up with for helping out the average “Joe”.

ABC News is reporting that…

“The Senate voted Tuesday to give a tax break to new car buyers, setting aside bipartisan concerns over the size of an economic stimulus bill with a price tag edging above $900 billion.”

The report explains that the Senate is looking at giving a tax break to new car buyers and here is what they are proposing…

“Sen. Barbara Mikulski led the successful effort to allow many car buyers to claim an income tax deduction for sales taxes paid on new autos and interest payments on car loans.”

Personally, I think this a great idea that should have been in place a long time ago because vehicles are a necessity for people today.  It’s not like millions of Americans can walk to work or ride their bike or horse and public transportation in America has proven to be an expensive joke.

Unfortunately, I don’t like the idea of it being added to a $900 billion “stimulus” package to get it passed.  Think about it for a minute, “If you give us $900 billion in taxes, we’ll let you write off the taxes you’re going to pay when you buy a new car and write off the interest on the loan.”  Wow, what a deal!  I get to pay more in taxes to get a tax incentive.  You have to love the way our politicians think.  Oh, that’s right, guy’s like Tom Daschle don’t pay taxes, so what do they care?

Anyway, be on the lookout for this new “perk” to come to a new car dealership near you.  If you need a new or “used” vehicle (you will still save more money buying a used vehicle), give me a callor send me an email.

Cool Car Shot – 2007 Mustang GT Eleanor Tribute

CCG Ad1Hey Cool Car Fans,

A client of mine is selling his lime green 2005 Mustang GT that I got for him a few years ago. We have it on consignment right now and I’m surprised that it hasn’t disappeared, especially since you can lease this vehicle with a great monthly payment.  He also just dropped the price to make it affordable compared to buying a new one.

I had a definitive car guy, Mr. Clark Jeffreys, email me details on his 2007 Mustang GT Eleanor Tribute vehicle.  It was too cool to not do a Cool Car Shot and have it featured at CoolCarGuy.com for Cool Car Fans.

He wrote me the following, along with two photos of this extremely cool car.  If you haven’t seen “Gone In Sixty Seconds” with Nicolas Cage,  Angelina Jolie and Robert Duvall I would definitely list that as a Don’t Miss It, you may want to add it to your video collection.

“Hey John,

I thought you might like to take a look at the 07′ that was built into an Eleanor Tribute “Gone in Sixty Seconds” Mustang.
It has 615 HP, 545 ft.lbs torque,  Twin screw liquid cooled SC, ceramic exhaust and headers, 12″ slotted and drilled rotors, with a 6 spd tranny and 3:73 posi to bring up the rear.”

07mustangelmid1

Look at that bad girl!  This is definitely all that and a bag of chips!  As a tribute to this vehicle, I’m dropping in the YouTube Trailor for the movie, “Gone In Sixty Seconds”.  If you’re on the front page of CoolCarGuy.com then click here for a better aspect ratio photo of the vehicle since the site is compressing the photo to fit on the home page of CoolCarGuy.com.

When you get up to this kind of horsepower you have to know how to drive and I’m not talking about just being able to get behind the wheel, put it in gear and hit the accelerator pedal.  No, you have to know how to handle 615 horses under the hood of a vehicle that has a curb weight (lbs) 3,483 or you can easily lose control of a vehicle like this and wrap it around a tree or something worse.
